Fellow Delegates,
How fast we are approaching on yet another exciting year in Youth and Government! February has long since passed, yet I know how your experiences and emotions at our wonderful state convention still resonate within you. I encourage you now, however, to harness those sentiments that remain from our time at the Capitol and channel them into making our 57th year the best yet.
I hope that with this year you will put the “you” into Youth and Government. Pour your heart and soul into this amazing program; whether you dedicate time to expanding your local club, establishing new clubs, writing and polishing a bill or resolution, creating a brilliant defense or prosecution case, or developing that ground-breaking news story, make this year your own. By leaving your mark on our program, I guarantee that your life and the lives of others will change forever. Youth and Government provides us with an incredible opportunity to grow in our methods of thinking about particular topic matters, relating to other individuals, and expressing our beliefs and ideas. Seize the opportunity that Youth and Government so generously provides; you will never regret it.
Throughout this upcoming year, I will always be available to help you. Being Youth Governor, it is both my responsibility and privilege to serve you. Never will I be too busy to answer questions, provide advice, or be a friend. You have given me the great honor of being your Youth Governor, and I will always respect that honor.
