Instructions for Online Proposal Submission 1. When your proposal is complete, go to "Save As" (under the File menu of Word, but it should be in a similar location if you're using a different word processor program) and save the document as a new file - something like YourNameProposal.doc. Please note: Your proposal must be saved in a .doc or .docx format. Most word processor programs will allow you to save your file as this type. If you need assistance, please e-mail Amanda Shankle-Knowlton 2. When your proposal is saved, click here to submit it. |

 All students attending the Southern District Conference on November 5 or the Northern District Conference on November 12 should bring a copy of the Red Book that was distributed at the Delegate Training Conferences. You may also download a copy.

 Salutations! I would like to welcome everybody to the inaugural year of Oklahoma Youth in Government! This will be our 61st year as a program. As the final chapter of the 60th anniversary comes to a close, we look to write a new chapter in this story. Despite the end of the Youth and Government era, I promise that the program is indeed the same. As we begin this year, I would like to welcome the new incoming delegates and the new delegations. We hope you will enjoy this first year of establishment and will grow stronger in the coming years. To those returning delegates, clubs, and advisors, it will be thrilling to see you all again this year. For those of you who are seniors, we hope to make this last or first year for you in this esteemed program the best one that you will ever have. Finally, I haven’t forgotten, I would like to welcome back the alumni to this exciting year! I would like to express what this program has meant for me. |

Hope you have had a great summer! The 2011-12 Youth in Government school year kicks off with Club Officer Training on August 27. All club officers and CONA delegates are invited to attend the Club Officer Training on August 27th at Earlywine Park YMCA.
