Welcome from Calvin Becker, 2008-2009 Youth Governor

Fellow Delegates, 

As we approach our 58^th annual state conference I’m sure many of you will look back to your fond memories from last year. Memories of things that went well and the things that didn’t go so well. It is my hope that when we get together that we will be able to build on those things that are our strengths and make better those that are our weaknesses. After all it is this conference that will enable us to become the leaders of tomorrow. So no matter what your branch, whether you’re in news media, legislative, judicial, or youth commission, do your best to try to change this program for the better. Also reach out to those you may not know. The friendships we make here will last us a lifetime. And finally, have fun. I promise you, if you do those things this will be our best state conference yet.
